10 See, the Lord God comes with might, and his arm rules for him: his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.
11 He will feed his flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs in his arms, and carry them in his bosom, and gently lead the mother sheep.
Prayer Focus: We hope in the Lord who is both strong and gentle. The Lord who comes with might and who gathers the lambs in his arms. So often we are tempted to choose one image of God. We believe God must be just this way or that way. But scripture reminds us with a diversity of images for God, that our Lord draws near and remains a mystery. Pray that you might be open to encountering God in a new way today.
