6 In this you rejoice, even if now for a little while you have had to suffer various trials,
7 so that the genuineness of your faith—being more precious than gold that, though perishable, is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.
Prayer Focus: Once again we find rejoicing, even if for a little while you have had to suffer various trials. We rejoice in God’s gift to us. We rejoice in the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We rejoice even in our sufferings, for we know hope that we will see Christ again and no one will take our joy from us. We rejoice in the promise. We rejoice in the joy set before us. Pray that you might rejoice today!
