43 He replied, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”
Prayer Focus: Today you will be with me in Paradise. Do you believe that? Uttered from the suffering, pain, and death of a cross, Jesus makes this promise: “Today you will be with me in Paradise.” The king of the universe, your Lord and Savior, who would not save himself from suffering but entered into suffering for you and for me, promises that today you will be with him. And whenever Christ is present and people notice, there is joy. Look for Christ’s presence with you in your suffering today. Pray that you might know joy.
