Prayer Focus: Over Jesus’ head there was an inscription that said, “This is the King of the Jews.” Kings live in palaces and sit on thrones, right? Kings hold court and people come to give them honor and glory, right? Kings have power, right? So, what do we do with a king whose throne is a cross? Could this be, ironically, a coronation? Pray that you might sit with this moment today. What could it mean if your king is crowned on a cross? If we can find Christ present there, where else do you think you might find him today?
