18 Then the Lord became jealous for his land, and had pity on his people.
19 In response to his people the Lord said: I am sending you grain, wine, and oil, and you will be satisfied; and I will no more make you a mockery among the nations.
Prayer Focus: The Lord’s response to the pleas of God’s people is pity and generosity. The Lord showers the people with gifts and they will be “satisfied.” Being satisfied is often equated with settling. But in this case, the word is more like filled. Filled, not just with grain, wine, and oil, but with the presence of the Lord. When we are filled with the presence of the Lord, there is joy. Pray that you might be satisfied today. Pray that you might know joy.
