Prayer Focus: Jesus’ response to Simon’s declaration that everyone is looking for him is to say, “we’ve got to go.” Jesus is not going to be the resident healer in Capernaum so that whenever someone needs him they will know where to find him. No, Jesus is going to be on the move. His ministry will extend beyond a single place into the neighboring towns. He will not just be a healer – he has a word and message to proclaim. That is what he came to do. Pray that you might release Jesus from the box or particular location where you have placed him. Pray that as we continue to be the church dispersed that you will remember Jesus is on the move.
