Scripture – Luke 24:48-49

48 You are witnesses of these things. 49 And see, I am sending upon you what my Father promised, so stay here in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.”

Prayer Focus: We are witnesses of these things. How can we respond to the best news that we’ll ever know – Jesus Christ is risen from the dead! We respond by sharing this good news as witnesses. We respond with generosity and joy. We respond by waiting for the power of the Holy Spirit that Jesus has promised to send to us. Pray for the ways you will respond today and trust that the Spirit is coming soon.
