21 Then he began to say to them, “Today this scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.” 

Prayer Focus: We have grown accustomed to thinking that God’s promises are about tomorrow or someday or even some other place like “heaven.” But what if God’s promises in the scriptures are fulfilled today in your hearing? How might that change the way you respond to God’s invitation to new life in Christ? How might that affect your witness and your engagement with others? If God is at work today, here and now, where will you find a way to come alongside the work God is already doing in the world?
