Scripture – 1 Corinthians 12:2-3

2 You know that when you were gentiles you were enticed and led astray to idols that could not speak. 3 Therefore I want you to understand that no one speaking by the Spirit of God ever says “Let Jesus be cursed!” and no one can say “Jesus is Lord” except by the Holy Spirit.

Prayer Focus: When the Holy Spirit filled the apostles on the first Pentecost, they were able to proclaim the good news of the gospel in languages that people could understand. What we say about Jesus needs to be understood. What we say about Jesus should point to the saving grace and Lordship of Jesus. Pray that your words today will help someone understand who Jesus really is for you.
