Scripture – Matthew 17:9

9 As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus ordered them, “Tell no one about the vision until after the Son of Man has been raised from the dead.”

Prayer Focus: Jesus understands that all that the disciples have seen and experienced on the mountain is beyond both their comprehension and their ability to speak adequately about it. But one day it will all be clear. Don’t tell anyone about all this until after the resurrection. Then you’ll be able to talk about it. Pray that you might have the patience to wait until the resurrection. Give thanks for those who have waited and prayed alongside you, particularly Rev. Dr. Mark Verdery whose ministry at Unity we celebrate today as he completes his time as Parish Associate.
