Scripture – Matthew 17:4

4 Then Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if you wish, I will set up three tents here, one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”  

Prayer Focus: The last time Peter spoke he was rebuking Jesus for talking about dying. Now, he offers to set up three tents or booths so that Jesus, Moses, and Elijah have a place to remain. This is the kind of Messiah Peter was talking about before. He still hasn’t let go of the idea. Think about the ideas that you are holding onto stubbornly, but that you know in your heart you need to let go. Pray that you might loosen your grip and open your heart and mind to the new thing God is trying to show you today.
