Scripture – Psalm 100:1

1 Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth.

Prayer Focus: Unity’s Parish Associate Mark Verdery is preaching this Sunday and has chosen two texts to lead us toward the Sunday before the Thanksgiving holiday. The first is Psalm 100 which begins “Make a joyful noise to the Lord!” Notice it does not say, “lift up your voice perfectly in tune” or “You better find your perfect harmony.” The Psalmist commands that we and all the earth all make a joyful noise to the Lord! What joyful noise might you make today as you give thanks to the Lord?
