23 O children of Zion, be glad,
and rejoice in the Lord your God,
for he has given the early rain for your vindication;
he has poured down for you abundant rain,

Prayer Focus: This week Unity Presbyterian Church will mark Reformation Sunday. It is the day that we use our Unity Tartan banner in worship and wear our various tartan items. We will be displaying a collection of letters and mementos from a time capsule created in the year 2000 with instructions that it be opened in 2025. As we prepare to celebrate Unity’s history, we will follow this text from the prophet Joel this week. It begins with a word of praise. Be glad and rejoice! Rain has come and the harvest will soon follow. Be glad and rejoice in 237 years of ministry for Unity Presbyterian Church! Rain has come and the harvest continues to be plentiful.
