33 But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Prayer Focus: The new covenant will not be cut into tablets of stone that one might see from time to time. The new covenant, God’s law and expectations for the fullness of life, will be engraved on the heart. Can you imagine just knowing what God wants you to do at all times and in all circumstances? What a gift that would be and what a gift this renewed relationship might be between God and God’s people. Pray that God’s intentions for justice, reconciliation, peace, love, and joy might rest in your heart today. Pray that this covenant might result in acts of faithfulness and obedience today.
