16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; teach and admonish one another in all wisdom; and with gratitude in your hearts sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God.

Prayer Focus: In this verse we find our spiritual practice for this week, but with a twist. We’ve been thinking about how we dwell in God’s word. But Paul invites the Colossians to “let the word of Christ dwell in you richly.” Instead of us dwelling in the Word, we are seeking to allow God’s word to dwell in us. How might you open your mind and your spirit to allow God’s Word to dwell in you? Pray that the Word might dwell in you today.
