3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying,
“See, the home of God is among mortals.
He will dwell with them;
they will be his peoples,
and God himself will be with them;
4 he will wipe every tear from their eyes.
Death will be no more;
mourning and crying and pain will be no more,
for the first things have passed away.”
Prayer Focus: God will dwell with the people, God will tabernacle with the people, God will meet them here in this new and holy city. God’s home will be with us. Pray for your own home today. Walk through the rooms of your home and pray that it may be God’s home. Pray for all the people who live in your home. Pray that God might dwell with and within them. Pray that God may be with them always and that they will be God’s people. Pray that there will be no more tears. No more death. No more mourning and crying and pain. What a glorious vision this is of when God comes to dwell with us.
