6 Then Ezra blessed the Lord, the great God, and all the people answered, “Amen, Amen,” lifting up their hands. Then they bowed their heads and worshiped the Lord with their faces to the ground.
Prayer Focus: Before the people hear God’s law, they worship. The law does not come to them in a vacuum – it comes from the God who has created, loved, and redeemed God’s people. Pray that your understanding of God’s law and commandments might grow out of the character of God revealed to us in Jesus.
