    We welcomed our twenty-three 8th grade youth and four high school youth confirmands into active membership on Sunday, May 3.These youth have been nurtured in their faith and have chosen to make a public profession of faith. Each of these youth has written a personal statement of faith and presented it to the Session. The Session has welcomed them into the church as active members.   Read More...

  • From The Communications Team

    The Communications Ministry Team is responsible for enhancing and expanding communications with congregation members and in the community to support the mission of Unity Presbyterian Church. The team supports multiple delivery mediums, including the website, Unity News weekly newsletter, Facebook, and bulletin boards. The committee is also responsible for audio/video during services, photography, and technology enhancements.   Read More...

  • Unity has a New Safe Place Policy

    The first revision of Unity’s Safe Place Policy in 6 years has just been completed, and was approved by Session at their June meeting. An update is needed every few years in order to assure that our policies and procedures meet current requirements for our insurance company.   • Ongoing Service Opportunities

    Children’s Attention Home The Children’s Attention Home is a 42-bed home that provides 24 hour a day emergency and residential care, and supportive services for children who have been physically or sexually abused, abandoned or neglected. The home serves children from birth through 21 years old. Volunteers are needed for the following areas: Tutoring Recreation Gardening Reading to Toddlers Office work Arts and Crafts and much more!   Read More...

  • Cancer Support Group

    This group is led by survivors with a health care professional at every meeting. Open to anyone in our community, for men and women, participants can gain additional insight and strength to help physically, emotionally and spiritually. The group meets on the 3rd Thursday, monthly at Oakland Avenue Presbyterian Church, 421 Oakland Ave, Rock Hill.   Read More...
