Go MAD Day

Go MAD Day is an Intergenerational Mission Blitz for ALL AGES (ages 4 and up) and offers participants the opportunity to serve locally while building community with others of all ages in our congregation.

Nursery Registration is done with each project registration!

Our schedule for the day is as follows:

  • 8:00 am Pick up breakfast, announcements, introductions & devotion (Fellowship Hall) 
  • 8:30 am Participants leave for sites 
  • 9:00-12:00 Mission projects & reflection at the sites

** Children 4 years of age-5th grade must register for a project with an adult. Youth in grades 6-12 may register independently for projects for which they meet the age requirement.



  • Classroom Ready (6th grade & up. Limit 12)
    Participants will be sorting school supplies and making cards to go in donated backpacks. REGISTER HERE

  • Church Workday & Habitat Lunch Making
    Projects around the church may include: dusting, cleaning stairwells & windows and yard work. Volunteers will also fix and deliver lunch for the Habitat volunteers. REGISTER HERE

  • Cookies Baking & Church Cleanup (Limit 30)
    Volunteers will bake and decorate cookies then deliver them to community helpers as well as do cleaning projects around the church to help our Sextons. REGISTER HERE

  • Delivering God’s Bounty (Limit 15)
    Volunteers will box the God’s Bounty food collection and deliver it to the Fort Mill Care Center. REGISTER HERE

  • Family Promise Headquarters (Limit 15)
    Projects may include yardwork around the garden and playground, painting and/or organizing donations. REGISTER HERE

  • Habitat Restore (until 1:00 pm, age 16 & up, Limit 7)
    Volunteers will drive to the Restore and helping in the store unloading donations, sorting materials and moving furniture. REGISTER HERE

  • Habitat Workday (until 3:00 pm, age 16 & up)
    Volunteers will be doing home repairs at two sites in Rock Hill and in York. REGISTER HERE

  • Hymn Sing at Wellmore
    Participants will drive to Wellmore to sing and visit with the residents. REGISTER HERE

  • Humane Society of York County
    Volunteers will make dog & cat toys to deliver to the shelter. There may also be a cleaning project at the shelter. REGISTER HERE

  • Levine Children’s Hospital (Project at Unity, Limit 15)
    Volunteers will be making blankets and calendars for children to use while they are in the hospital. This project will be completed at Unity, with items to be delivered at a later date. REGISTER HERE
